Spring is coming!

Hints of Spring are starting to emerge (yay!) and finally the cold weather has begun to shift! Even yesterday was especially warm and perfect for running. I have also been busy with other activities these past few weeks which explain the lack of blog posts but I promise I will try to keep up!

I decided to incorporate a short, striped jacket into today’s outfit. I got it almost a year ago and completely forgot I had it! I know horizontal stripes can make one look wider but I love how the vertical lines go into the waist accentuating a slim waistline. Plus, the jacket goes pretty well with the bodycon dress I got in a sale few months ago 🙂

Chunky necklaces like my studded, chain one adds texture to an outfit… and a bit of drama! Talking about jewelry, my little collection needs a bit of organization and I am thinking of spicing up my jewelry box. I will do a DIY post soon so watch this space!

Fashion Fringe Fascination.

 

It rained the whole day yesterday, perfect for a stay in hence I decided to work on this post. The first few weeks of January have flown by so quickly without me realizing it! I am finally catching up with normal, mundane routines because the inner child in me still wanted to embrace the already expired holiday period.

The January sales have been pretty good so far. I managed to get a few bargains while at the same time, trying to be sensible and not buying on impulse. (I think I am getting better at the craft.) Got some tan trousers and a striped top and styled them for today’s outfit post. And a bodycon midi dress which I intend to wear for my next look.

I am very excited about this look because I finally own a fringe jacket. Always wanted one! You’ll see more of it in future posts hehe.

As you may now know, I am obsessed with anything FRINGE so I bought this Rare London jacket from Topshop last Christmas. It’s perfect for light layering and I might just get away with it on chilly Summer nights. (I intend to wear it all year ahem.)

 

 

This multi-chain necklace just screams my style and reminds me of the Free People jewelry collection- only cheaper.

 

 

I really like the lace-up hem of these tan trousers. They’re made of faux suede fabric leather, which also means they’re easier to wash.

Hello, 2015.

 

Hello to my first post of 2015! I decided to take a break for a few weeks from blogging and now I am back 🙂 I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and New Year! New year, new goals, new beginnings and I hope to continue to grow as a blog writer and bring you more interesting material.

 

I had the chance to visit my, what I call, first England trip to the beautiful city of Bristol over Christmas. The apartment I stayed in had a roof top view of the city centre, which was lovely. 5 days seemed very short but I was so glad to also visit Bath since it was only a 15-minute train journey. I didn’t do much shopping, although I managed a trip to TK Maxx on Boxing Day and scored a nice blue jumper and a sports bra hehe. Did lots of walking, which is always the best way to explore a city. Probably the best thing to do after stuffing my face at Christmas! Here are photos of my trip and I hope you’ll enjoy them. I’ll see you guys soon with my next post! xx

Tartan Chic

 

 

Tis’ the season for Tartan prints! I got the tartan midi skirt out from my wardrobe and thought I’d style it with a vibrant bib necklace and some vintage leather ankle boots and clutch. In fact, I love this skirt so much I’m going to wear it again with leggings and tall boots when I travel to England pretty soon! Hope everyone has a lovely Christmas with loved ones! xx

Hello, Boho Winter.

 

 

I love my Free People dress so much and I want to add it to my Winter style options. The slip dress is perfect for Summer but it will be a shame to only wear it during that super warm season. Plus, Winter here in the Costa Blanca Spain can be a bit more forgiving he he.

 

 

Going Boho – I love fringe detailing! I used Swapstyle last year and got these gorgeous, almost new Sam Edelman suede fringe boots. Also digging the plum lace socks to go with the boots.

 

 

It was a pretty warm day when I took these outfit photos and I got away with a light halter neck grey top. I plan to wear some cozy jumpers over the dress for colder days!

VINTAGE STEAL: THE TRUSTY JACKET

 

 

A friend gave me this beautiful, soft leather vintage jacket she had for years. I love anything vintage especially leather. I got it last Summer and finally able to incorporate it into my outfits. Will definitely be my trusty jacket for a longgggg time 🙂

 

 

 

 

I wanted to go for a military casual look and the jacket has that feel to it with its studded buttons and side straps. And a touch of Boho because I love my fringe bag very much. I think both styles kind of work with this one!

It’s coat season!

 

Well, almost. Last week’s weather was dull and rainy and it didn’t help with the bad cold I had! I was excited about wearing my new coat I bought recently. I do look a bit washed out in the photos though so just ignore my face 😛

I’ve always wanted to have a smart coat especially this men’s style one from H&M. A bargain – at only €30! It runs big so I had to get a size smaller. With coats and jackets, I personally think its best to go into a shop to try them on instead of buying online.

 

The coat has since returned to the wardrobe because being Spain, we still some have good weather left 😛
